Free Year 4 Words with More Than One Meaning Worksheet

Students learn that many words have more than one meaning, such as bat (a flying animal or a stick for hitting a ball), and that the rest of the sentence tells us which meaning is used. They choose the meaning that fits, find one word that fits two sentences, work out how homographs such as tear and wind are said and use multiple-meaning words in their own sentences.
