For parents
Everything here is free, and you don't need an account. This page explains how to get the most from it — and what to do when a worksheet isn't enough.
Six things that make home practice work
1.Start where they are, not where the year says
If a Level 2 worksheet is a struggle, drop to Level 1 for the same topic — or step back a year. Confidence returns quickly once the foundation is solid.
2.Short and regular beats long and rare
Ten to fifteen focused minutes, three or four times a week, builds more than a two-hour Sunday session.
3.Use the answer sheet together
Our maths answer sheets show the method. Comparing working — not just answers — is where the learning happens.
4.Follow the pathway
Each resource suggests what to try next. Finish a topic with the topic test to confirm it has stuck.
5.Praise effort and method
'You lined up the decimal points perfectly' lands better than 'you're so smart'. Point to the thing they did well.
6.Know when to get help
If the same topic keeps causing frustration after a few sessions, an assessment can pinpoint the gap — often it's one or two skills further back.
