Free Year 5 Keeping Verb Tense Consistent Worksheet

Students learn that a sentence or paragraph about one time should stay in one tense, and that the tense only changes when the time changes. They choose verbs that keep the tense steady, find and correct verbs that slip into the wrong tense, decide when a change of tense is correct and rewrite a mixed-up paragraph in the past tense.
