Free 2nd Grade Exclamation Points, Commas, and Contractions Worksheet

Students practice three punctuation skills: exclamation points to show strong feeling, commas in dates (July 4, 1776) and in a series of three or more things, and apostrophes in contractions such as can't and we'll. The worksheet teaches the comma before "and" in a series, the standard choice for school writing. Students choose correct sentences, write contractions, add commas, and write their own sentences.
