Free 6th Grade Clauses and Sentence Editing Worksheet

Students learn to spot the three most common sentence faults (fragments, run-ons and comma splices) and to fix them using conjunctions, semicolons or periods. They also combine sentences with relative pronouns (who, that, where) and edit a short paragraph. Editing at sentence level is where upper primary writing makes its biggest gains in clarity.
