Free Year 4 Apostrophes for Possession Worksheet

Students learn to use an apostrophe to show that something belongs to someone: 's for one owner, s' for more than one owner ending in s, and 's for plurals that do not end in s (children's). They pick the correct form, rewrite phrases using possessive apostrophes, and tell possession apart from contractions. This is the apostrophe rule most adults still get wrong, so it is worth building carefully.
