Free 3rd Grade Apostrophes in Contractions: It's or Its, You're or Your Worksheet

A 3rd grade worksheet on contractions. Students learn that the apostrophe in a contraction stands for the missing letters (do not → don't, we have → we've), then tackle the pairs that trip up many writers: it's and its, you're and your, they're and their. A simple test (can you say it is, you are, or they are instead?) helps them choose. They build contractions, pick the right word, edit sentences, and write sentences using each pair.
